What is a SIAM Student Chapter?
A SIAM Student Chapter is a student organization affiliated with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), aimed at promoting computational science and fostering interaction and collaboration among researchers and students from different departments. This is achieved through various activities, such as seminars, courses, and meetings.

How to join the UniPi-SNS SIAM Student Chapter
It is sufficient to inform the organizers, either in person, or contacting them at pysanum-organizers@lists.dm.unipi.it or at their personal mail addresses. The organizers will proceed to enroll you in the Student Chapter.
How to become a SIAM member
Once you have become a member of the Student Chapter, you can register on the SIAM website, indicating your membership in the UniPi-SNS SIAM Student Chapter.
Other italian SIAM Student Chapters
The conference is aimed at PhD students and young researchers, working in numerical analysis and applied mathematics. It is organized with the support of Gruppo Nazionale di Calcolo Scientifico (GNCS) and of Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata e Industriale (SIMAI), in collaboration with the other italian SIAM Student Chapters: Università di Pavia – IMATI (UniPV-IMATI), Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi), Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA), Università di Genova (UniGe), Università di Milano-Bicocca (UniMiB).
